The Sword King

Sword King of Sky, Sea and land

Stoops, to take my likeness

He bends to take my hand

I, rebel wanderer, take my stand

His whisper broke defiance

Sword King of sky, sea, and land.

Universe Speaker, who flung stars and sand

came for the broken, not the righteous

It is He, who bends to take my hand

Empty of Himself, kneeling so to stand

To win back the whole of His inheritance

Sword King of sky, sea, and land

Servant, not slave, both God and man

Body broken for my wholeness

He bends to reach my curse born hand

An iron scepter, head diademed

All bow low before His brightness

Sword King of sky sea and land

Still, He bends to take my hand
